Cryptera Beta Terms of Use

Effective date: 2026-07-26
Version: 1.0

These Beta Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Cryptera website, application, automated strategy tools, backtesting functionality, notifications and related services collectively referred to as the “Service”.

Contact email: support@mail.crypteraapp.com

By creating an account, connecting an exchange account, activating a strategy or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. Beta status

Cryptera is currently provided as a beta version for testing and evaluation. The Service may be incomplete and may contain errors, defects or functionality that does not operate as expected.

During the beta period:

  • access may be limited to selected users;
  • the Service may be unavailable or interrupted;
  • features may be added, changed, restricted or removed;
  • strategies, calculations, reports and notifications may contain errors;
  • exchange integrations may stop working or behave differently;
  • beta data may be corrected, reset or deleted when reasonably necessary;
  • the beta programme may be suspended or discontinued at any time.

You must not rely on Cryptera as your only method of monitoring or managing your exchange account. You remain responsible for checking your balances, orders, transactions and API permissions directly through the exchange.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if:

  1. you are at least 18 years old;
  2. you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms;
  3. your use of the Service is lawful in your country of residence;
  4. you are permitted to use the relevant cryptocurrency exchange;
  5. the connected exchange account belongs to you or you are legally authorised to manage it;
  6. you are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable sanctions, export controls or other laws.

You are responsible for determining whether your use of Cryptera, cryptocurrency exchanges and digital assets is permitted under the laws applicable to you.

3. Description of the Service

Cryptera is a software tool that helps users configure and run automated cryptocurrency accumulation strategies.

Depending on the functionality currently available, the Service may allow you to:

  • connect a supported exchange account using API credentials;
  • view exchange balances and transaction information;
  • configure automated strategy parameters;
  • automatically submit spot purchase orders;
  • run historical backtests and simulations;
  • receive portfolio snapshots and notifications;
  • review strategy activity and order history.

Cryptera does not operate a cryptocurrency exchange and does not execute trades itself. Orders are submitted to a third-party exchange through that exchange’s API.

The exchange independently accepts, rejects, processes and executes submitted orders according to its own systems and rules.

4. No custody of funds

Cryptera does not hold, receive, store or control your cryptocurrency or fiat funds.

Your funds and digital assets remain in your own exchange account.

Cryptera does not provide:

  • custodial wallets;
  • deposit accounts;
  • internal monetary balances;
  • withdrawal services;
  • transfers of assets to other users;
  • management of withdrawal addresses.

You must never provide Cryptera with an API key that permits withdrawals or external transfers.

5. Supported exchanges and markets

During the beta period, Cryptera may support only selected exchanges, account types, markets, assets and trading pairs.

The initial integration may be limited to Bybit Global spot accounts. Futures, margin trading, leveraged products and derivatives are not supported unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Cryptera is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Bybit or any other supported exchange unless expressly stated otherwise.

Your use of an exchange is governed by the exchange’s own terms, privacy policies, trading rules, technical restrictions and eligibility requirements.

We do not control and are not responsible for an exchange’s availability, security, solvency, pricing, API performance, data accuracy, order execution or regulatory status.

6. User accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your Cryptera account.

You are responsible for:

  • keeping your login credentials confidential;
  • using a secure password;
  • restricting access to your devices;
  • all activity performed through your account;
  • notifying us promptly about suspected unauthorised access.

You must not share, sell, transfer or provide your Cryptera account to another person without our written permission.

7. API credentials and permissions

To use automated functionality, you may need to provide API credentials issued by a supported exchange.

You agree to configure API credentials with only the minimum permissions required to use Cryptera.

API credentials connected to Cryptera must not permit:

  • withdrawals;
  • external transfers;
  • management of withdrawal addresses;
  • access to unsupported account functionality.

Cryptera may reject or disable API credentials that appear to contain unsafe, excessive or unsupported permissions.

You are responsible for:

  • creating and configuring the API key correctly;
  • reviewing its permissions directly on the exchange;
  • using IP restrictions where supported and appropriate;
  • revoking the key when you stop using Cryptera;
  • revoking the key immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

We use reasonable technical and organisational security measures, including encrypted storage where applicable. However, no storage, software or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Automated order execution

By activating an automated strategy, you authorise Cryptera to submit orders to your connected exchange account according to the strategy parameters you selected.

These parameters may include:

  • trading symbol;
  • order side;
  • purchase amount;
  • drawdown level;
  • cooldown period;
  • order frequency;
  • other available strategy conditions.

Once a strategy is activated, qualifying market conditions may cause an order to be submitted automatically without additional confirmation from you.

You are solely responsible for reviewing the strategy configuration before activation and determining whether it is appropriate for you.

An order may:

  • be submitted later than expected;
  • be rejected by the exchange;
  • remain open;
  • be partially filled;
  • be filled at a different price than expected;
  • fail because of an insufficient balance;
  • fail because of exchange limits or minimum order sizes;
  • incur trading fees and slippage;
  • fail during exchange downtime or high market volatility;
  • be affected by software, network or API errors.

Information displayed by Cryptera may temporarily differ from the information displayed by the exchange. The exchange’s own records should be treated as the primary record of balances, orders and trades.

9. User control and monitoring

You may stop an automated strategy through Cryptera where this functionality is available.

Stopping a strategy may not:

  • cancel orders already submitted to the exchange;
  • reverse completed transactions;
  • take effect immediately;
  • revoke or disable the exchange API key.

To prevent further API access, you should revoke or disable the API key directly through the exchange.

You are responsible for regularly checking:

  • whether your strategies are active;
  • whether orders have been submitted and executed correctly;
  • whether your account has sufficient funds;
  • whether the API key remains valid and appropriately restricted;
  • whether unexpected transactions or errors have occurred.

You must not assume that the absence of a Cryptera notification means that no transaction, failure or error has occurred.

10. Backtests and historical information

Cryptera may provide backtests, simulations, charts, statistics, portfolio values and other historical calculations.

Backtests are hypothetical simulations based on historical data, selected parameters and simplified assumptions. They do not represent actual trading results.

Backtests may not fully account for:

  • liquidity limitations;
  • slippage;
  • exchange outages;
  • API failures;
  • order rejection;
  • changes in exchange rules;
  • market impact;
  • taxes;
  • all trading fees;
  • differences between historical and live market conditions.

Past or simulated performance does not guarantee or predict future results.

11. No financial or investment advice

Cryptera provides software functionality and general information. Nothing available through the Service constitutes personalised financial, investment, trading, legal, accounting or tax advice.

Cryptera does not:

  • recommend that you purchase or sell a specific asset;
  • assess whether a strategy is suitable for your financial situation;
  • guarantee any return or investment result;
  • act as your broker, fiduciary, portfolio manager or financial adviser.

You make all investment and strategy decisions independently and at your own risk. You should seek advice from qualified professionals where appropriate.

12. Risk acknowledgement

By using Cryptera, you understand and accept that cryptocurrency trading involves significant risks.

These risks include, without limitation:

  • loss of some or all invested funds;
  • extreme price volatility;
  • lack of liquidity;
  • exchange insolvency or suspension;
  • security incidents and account compromise;
  • regulatory changes;
  • software defects;
  • incorrect, delayed or unavailable market data;
  • network, hosting or API failures;
  • unintended order execution;
  • tax liabilities.

You should use only funds that you can afford to lose and maintain appropriate reserves outside the Service.

13. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or another account;
  • interfere with the security or operation of the Service;
  • introduce malware or malicious code;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law permits it;
  • circumvent technical restrictions or access controls;
  • use automated tools to overload or scrape the Service without permission;
  • misrepresent your identity or authority;
  • connect an exchange account that you are not authorised to manage;
  • use the Service in violation of sanctions or applicable law.

We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe that these rules have been violated.

14. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep Cryptera available and reliable, but we do not guarantee continuous or error-free operation.

The Service may be interrupted because of:

  • maintenance;
  • security incidents;
  • hosting or network failures;
  • exchange API changes;
  • third-party service failures;
  • legal or regulatory requirements;
  • events outside our reasonable control.

We may add, modify, limit, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time during the beta period.

15. Third-party services

Cryptera relies on third-party services, which may include cryptocurrency exchanges, cloud hosting providers, messaging services, market-data providers and other technical infrastructure.

We are not responsible for losses, interruptions or errors caused by third-party services that we do not control.

Links to third-party websites or services are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

16. Intellectual property

Cryptera and its software, design, text, graphics, branding, databases and other original content are owned by us or used under licence.

Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service during the beta period.

These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights in Cryptera or its underlying technology to you.

17. Feedback

You may provide comments, ideas, bug reports or other feedback regarding the Service.

You permit us to use such feedback without restriction or compensation to improve, develop and operate Cryptera. This does not transfer ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property to us.

18. Privacy

Our collection and processing of personal data is described in the Cryptera Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that certain account, exchange, device, security and usage information may be processed as necessary to provide, secure and improve the Service.

Please review the Privacy Policy before using Cryptera.

19. Free beta access

The Service is currently provided free of charge during the beta period.

Free beta access:

  • does not guarantee permanent free access;
  • does not create a right to future functionality;
  • may be limited or revoked at any time;
  • may later be replaced by a paid subscription.

If Cryptera introduces paid services, applicable prices and payment terms will be presented separately before you purchase a subscription. We will not charge you without your explicit agreement.

20. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that:

  • the Service will always be available, secure or error-free;
  • all orders will be submitted or executed correctly;
  • notifications will always be delivered;
  • market or account data will always be complete or accurate;
  • backtests will reflect actual trading results;
  • the Service will meet your individual requirements;
  • use of the Service will result in profit or prevent loss.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

21. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cryptera will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, opportunity, data, goodwill or digital assets arising from your use of the Service.

Without limiting the above, we are not responsible for losses resulting from:

  • cryptocurrency price movements;
  • your strategy settings or investment decisions;
  • orders submitted according to your selected parameters;
  • exchange failures, restrictions or insolvency;
  • API errors, delays or outages;
  • incorrect or delayed market data;
  • compromised user devices or credentials;
  • API keys configured with excessive permissions;
  • your failure to monitor or secure your exchange account;
  • events outside our reasonable control.

Because the beta Service is currently provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service will, to the maximum extent permitted by law, be limited to EUR 100.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including where applicable in cases of fraud, intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

22. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to compensate Cryptera for reasonable losses, liabilities and expenses resulting from your unlawful use of the Service, violation of these Terms, violation of third-party rights or unauthorised use of an exchange account.

23. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You should also revoke your exchange API key directly through the exchange.

We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access if:

  • you violate these Terms;
  • we suspect fraud, abuse or unauthorised activity;
  • your use creates a security or operational risk;
  • continued access may violate applicable law;
  • the beta programme or relevant functionality is discontinued.

Termination does not cancel or reverse transactions already submitted to or executed by an exchange.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law.

24. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, security requirements, legal obligations or business operations.

The updated version will be published with a revised effective date and version number.

Where changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the Service, email or another reasonable communication channel.

If required, you may be asked to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Service.

25. Governing law and disputes

Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact us and make a reasonable attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

26. General provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent.

We may transfer these Terms as part of a reorganisation, transfer of the Service or change of operator, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any expressly incorporated notices, form the agreement governing your use of the beta Service.
